I'm frighteningly human
I quiver

I don't know how long it will take you
to realize

that i won't bury the world's pain
in my eyes

and that's not something for which

I should apologize

but that
doubt
in your heart is

if i see things
that are broken
I mend them

these walls

well then

cuz the world needs

we can give

I'm not saying
we should work
til we're tireless

but I believe
we should lead lives
that inspire us

so that one day

admire us

of our souls

If you have a dream
well then live it

so give it

well admit it
