What is the Urbanite Project? Urbanite magazine's annual special issue brings together a diverse selection of Baltimoreans to collaborate together on the ideas and problems they find most compelling.

2009. This year, the project consists of five teams of collaborators; each team has been asked, What would you do if there were no boundaries? What concern-either here in Baltimore or globally-would you confront if nothing stood in your way? The Urbanite Project aims to explore the possibilities of collaborative innovation and bring that power to bear on the most intractable human problems.

This year, we will again include Urbanite readers in the project. Those selected will be invited to join an Urbanite Project team and work with other participants who represent a wide range of fields and professions, from art and architecture to science and education.
